Matfer Bourgeat 12-inch Exoglass Piano Whisk

We consider the Matfer Bourgeat 12-inch Exoglass Piano Whisk the best single whisk to own. At this length it is long enough to whip cream in a mixing bowl and still easy to control in a saucepan, which covers most of what a home cook or a line cook asks of a whisk.

Matfer welds each stainless steel wire to a steel core and bonds it into the Exoglass handle, so the wires stay anchored through years of daily use. They also have shape memory and resist twisting. A bulge in the handle keeps your grip from sliding, and the composite insulates your hand from the heat of the pan.

Other Sizes and Styles

Choose a shorter piano whisk for small bowls and a longer one for deep pots and large batches. Matfer’s other whisk styles take on the jobs a piano whisk is not designed for.
