Magimix 14-Cup 4200XL Food Processor, White

The Magimix 4200XL serves cooks who prepare several components of a meal at once: the weeknight cook who chops an onion, grates cheese, and mixes a dough in the same hour, and the host who prepares soup, dressing, and dessert for a table of six.

A single motor base drives three nested work bowls and a full set of blades, discs, and tools. One appliance chops, slices, grates, kneads, blends, emulsifies, and whips. The white finish suits a light kitchen where the machine stays on the counter.

Features

• Quiet induction motor. The 950-watt motor adjusts its power to the load, so it drives a stiff bread dough as steadily as it purees a sauce. It carries the Quiet Mark award for low operating noise, and Magimix guarantees it for 30 years.


• Three nested bowls. The mini and midi bowls sit inside the main bowl. Mince garlic in the mini bowl, slice vegetables into the midi bowl, then mix or knead in the main bowl without washing between steps. The bowls also store as one unit.


• Sabatier knife blade and discs. The stainless steel knife blade and the slicing and grating discs are made by Sabatier in France. The knife blade is serrated and does not need sharpening.


• BlenderMix ring. Fitted to the lid, the ring directs ingredients back toward the blade, for smoother soups, smoothies, and pancake and waffle batters.


• Extra-large feed tube with triple pusher. Whole potatoes, onions, and blocks of cheese go in with little or no cutting. The nested pushers narrow the opening for smaller items and for drizzling oil into mayonnaise.


• Three-button control. Auto runs continuously, Pulse runs only while pressed for coarse chopping, and Stop halts the motor.

What It Handles

The 4200XL kneads pizza, bread, and brioche doughs, chops beef for burgers, shreds cheddar for a casserole, slices potatoes evenly for gratin, whips egg whites for meringue, and emulsifies mayonnaise. Optional attachments extend it further: the Magimix Dice & French Fry Kit, the Magimix Juice Extractor Attachment, and the Magimix Citrus Juicer Attachment.
