The Magimix 4200XL is built for cooks who prepare food in quantity and in stages: the home cook who slices a week’s worth of vegetables on Sunday, the baker who kneads bread and pastry dough, and the host who moves from pesto to soup to whipped cream in a single afternoon. One motor base drives three nested work bowls and a full complement of blades, discs and accessories, so a single appliance chops, slices, grates, kneads, blends, emulsifies and whips. The polished chrome finish suits a kitchen where the machine earns a permanent place on the counter.

Features

• Quiet induction motor. The motor adjusts its power automatically to the load in the bowl, so it drives a stiff bread dough as readily as it purées a soup. It has earned the Quiet Mark award for low operating noise, and Magimix guarantees it for 30 years.
• Three nested bowls. The mini and midi bowls fit inside the main bowl. Chop garlic and herbs in the mini bowl, slice or grate into the midi bowl, then mix or knead in the main bowl, all without stopping to wash between steps. The bowls also store together as a single unit.
• Sabatier steel knife blade and discs. The stainless steel knife blade and the slicing and grating discs carry the Sabatier name, a long-standing reference in French cutlery. The serrated knife blade does not require sharpening.
• BlenderMix ring. Fitted to the lid, the ring directs ingredients back down toward the blade, producing smoother soups, sauces, smoothies and batters.
• Extra-large feed tube with triple pusher. Whole potatoes, onions and blocks of cheese go in with little or no pre-cutting, and the nested pushers adapt the opening for smaller items and for adding oil to mayonnaise and dressings.
• Three-button operation. Auto runs continuously for even textures, Pulse runs only while pressed for control over coarse chopping, and Stop halts the motor.
• Made in France. Magimix has built its food processors in Burgundy since 1971.

What the 4200XL Handles

The 4200XL kneads pizza and sandwich bread dough, grinds beef for burgers, shreds a block of cheddar for a casserole, slices potatoes to an even thickness for gratin, whips egg whites for meringue and emulsifies mayonnaise.
