The stainless steel protective plates keep the knife properly aligned inside the sharpening unit and help prevent plastic particles from entering the meat. It maintains the trusted design features of our sharpeners, including durable tension springs with virtually no wear and stainless steel sharpening rods. The internal mechanism is tightly sealed, making the unit highly resistant to outside elements.

Recessed grips on the front provide a secure, comfortable hold — even when wearing gloves. The Magneto Steel can be used as a handheld sharpener or mounted directly at your workstation. Two mounting holes at the base allow for secure installation, while two eyelets in the upper handle area let you attach a chain or lock to help prevent theft.
