The Wusthof Classic 7 inch Santoku is a bit shorter than the standard cook's knife while maintaining the blade height by means of a drop-tip design. The intent is to have a knife that is a bit more nimble with a flatter edge as is preferred in Eastern cuisine.


- The hollow edge creates pockets of air which prevent extra thin or soft slices from sticking to the blade.
