Wusthof 17 Slot Acacia Knife Block

Top Row: 1 Knife Slot & 1 Honing Steel Slot - (Left) 2 1/4" x 1/8", (Right) Honing Steel Slot 5/8" x 5/8"

The top row knife slot is designed to hold your longest knife. Maximum blade length is 10 inches. 

The honing steel slot can hold a 10" sharpening steel that is round or oval. Oval steels will need to be placed into the slot on a bias.

Second Row: 2 Knife Slots - (Left) 2" x 1/8", (Right) 1 5/8" x 1/8"

These slots can hold knives with blade lengths up to 9.5 inches. The left slot is well suited to hold an extra chef's knife, a scimitar, or breaking knife. The slot on the right would hold a bread knife, carving knife or slicer beautifully.

Third Row: 2 Knife Slots - (Left) 1 5/8" x 1/8", (Right) 1 5/8" x 1/8"

These slots can hold knives with blade lengths up to 9 inches. 

Fourth Row: 1 Knife Slot & 1 Tool Slot - (Left) 2" x 0.25", (Right) 1.25" x 5/8"

This knife slot offers ample storage for a santoku or nakiri. The shear slot can be used to store shears, a carving fork, or other similarly sized tool. Both slots can accomodate a blade length up to 8 inches in length.

Fifth Row: 3 Knife Slots - Each 1" x 1/8"

These slots are designed for the storage of paring, utility or prep knives with a maximum blade length of 7 inches.

Bottom Row: 6 Steak Knife Slots - Each Slot is 1" x 1/8"

Designed to hold up to 6 steak knives, each with a maximum blade length of up to 4.5 inches; these slots are also well suited for the storage of extra paring or utility knives.
