  • Suncraft Senzo Clad 90mm Parer

The Suncraft Senzo Clad paring knife is a beautifully crafted blade that takes a razor sharp edge, holds it well and is easy to maintain with a honing steel. Paring knives are used for precise detail work and for cuts made "in-hand" where both the knife and the product being cut are held off of the board. The ability to control and manipulate the blade is especially important when using a knife in this fashion. The Senzo Clad paring knife has an extremely comfortable hand that is easy to grip and very well suited for this traditional paring work. The wide spearpoint blade is perfectly shaped to peel, trim and core a range of fruits and vegetables. Aside from blade and handle shape an important consideration when shopping for a paring knife is edge retention; paring knives can be very difficult to sharpen on stones due to the small size of the blade. This knife is ground evenly (50/50 bevel) meaning it can be sharpened with a draw sharpener or other guided manual or electric sharpener. It can also be maintained with a steel or ceramic honing rod. This is an all around fantastic paring knfie that would be well suited for either commercial or home use.  Learn More
