Pride Abrasives 600 Grit Water Stone (slate/blue-grey). Pride stones use a vitrifed bonding process rather than resin. This is particularly helpful on these lower-grit stones where most brands create excessive slurry and break down quickly. These cut aggressively, yet maintain flatness very well. 600 grit is commonly used to repair minor chips, and prepare the knife for higher grit stones.
