F. Dick 12 in. Oval Regular Cut Honing Rod

The F. Dick Regular Cut Oval honing rod with black plastic handle is Friedrich Dick's entry line into their world of sharpening steels, the quality of the rod will be the same as other regular cut rods from F. Dick but the handle is basic and therefore cuts down on the cost of the product. The honing rod is a regular cut and will align a beveled edge on most knives, if your knife has a very high Rockwell Hardness (Above 60) we recommend a different cut like the Titan or Nitro honing rods. This is a honing product meaning that it will straighten and align edges and burnish your blades edge making it smooth for clean cutting.
