Ateco 8-inch Straight Icing Spatula with Wood Handle

Sized for standard 8- and 9-inch layer cakes, the blade reaches from the center of the cake to its edge, so the top can be leveled in long strokes.

A taper grind makes the 420 stainless blade more flexible toward the tip, which helps when smoothing the sides of a cake on a turntable or spreading crepe batter.

The 8-inch spatula with a plastic handle can go in the dishwasher. If you frost mostly in the pan or need clearance for your knuckles, consider the 7.75-inch offset with wood handle.
