Mercer Renaissance 9 in. Chef Knife using German High Carbon Stainless Steel is the ideal sized knife for most taller cooks and most tasks in the kitchen. The benefit of this knife is that the user gets the same quality knife as the big name German brands but the cost of labor in Taiwan allows the product to cost a third of the price. The blade uses (X50CRMOV15) Stainless German Steel, POM material handle, semi-bolster and full tang with triple rivets for stability. Made in Germany.
