Ateco Plain Piping Tip, 1/4-inch

A quarter-inch plain tip pipes the round beads that make up a pearl border, and it is a good size for small meringue kisses and the dots of ganache on petits fours.

It also fills small cream puffs and cannoli shells neatly.

For writing and fine detail, see the Ateco 800. For macarons, the larger Ateco 804 (3/8-inch) is the better size.
