Kyocera Universal Soft-Touch Knife Block - Round (KB-U-BK)

A compact universal knife block designed to store and protect a range of knife shapes without fixed slots.

The Kyocera Universal Block uses a flexible slotted insert that allows you to store different knife types in a small footprint. It accommodates 6 to 8 knives, including chef’s knives, santoku, and utility blades, without the spacing limitations of traditional blocks.

The interior is made from a non-abrasive, blade-safe polymer. It supports each knife individually and helps protect the edge during insertion and removal. This is especially important for ceramic knives and harder steel edges that can be damaged by contact with rigid wood slots.

The round design keeps the footprint compact at approximately 4.3" in diameter while still offering usable capacity for everyday prep tools. It is well suited for smaller workspaces or streamlined setups.

A stainless steel band adds weight and stability, helping the block remain secure on the counter even when loaded with larger knives.

The soft-touch exterior provides a non-slip surface and resists fingerprints, keeping the block easy to handle and clean.

The top insert is removable, allowing you to clean the interior and prevent buildup over time. This makes it easier to maintain a sanitary storage environment compared to closed-slot blocks.

This block is compatible with both ceramic and steel knives. It works best with standard kitchen knives up to 8" in blade length.
