Bread Knives

Straight, long and serrated bread knives are used for just that: cutting bread. Aside from their traditional function bread knives are often used for cutting melons, layering cakes and even for slicing meats. The serrations themselves can vary in form as the “teeth” may be pointed or rounded and can cut into the blade or extrude from it. Another consideration is the style of grip as offset handles provide substantially more knuckle clearance than a standard grip.
