Shun Classic Blonde Knives
Designed to offer an aesthetic alternative to the Shun Classic Line, the Shun Classic Blonde collection mirrors the design and construction of the much-loved classic line except for the lightly colored Blonde Pakkawood Handles. The traditional D-shaped handles are durable, comfortable, and decoratively adorned with an ornamental steel end cap. Shun Classic Blonde blades are comprised of a VG-Max core that is clad with 33 layers of SUS410/SUS431 steel (16 layers per side). These blades can be sharpened to an extremely fine edge that requires little maintenance. They stay razor sharp for a very long time. Shun Classic and Classic Blonde knives are an excellent choice for the chef or home cook that doesn’t want to fuss with regular honing or sharpening. They perform well, look great, and are backed by Shun’s Free Mail-In Sharpening Service.
