F. Dick Eurasia 4.5 in. Paring Knife
The F. Dick Eurasia 4.5 inch paring knife is a great nimble knife to do the tasks a regular smaller paring knife is not suited for. This knife is excellent for cutting avocado, slicing grapefruit or navel oranges and even cantaloupe. What makes the Eurasia line different is the partial bolster like you would find on a Japanese made knife. The partial bolster gives the cook a little more finger room for a better grip but most of all it makes this an easier product to run through a draw sharpener, pass on a honing rod and even makes stone sharpening a little easier as the bolster would not interfere with sharpening all the way to the heel of the blade.
