Some students may be taking only the Baking and Pastry class. In this case, you will need these knives to work with this semester. Most students are also taking the Essential Skills class which requires a full knife set. If you are unsure of whether you will take Essential Skills in the future you may also prefer to purchase this set - we do have a partial set available for Essential Skills students who previously purchased this partial set so you won't have to purchase any items twice.
