Ateco Superflex 15-inch Reusable Pastry Bag

The 15-inch (38 cm) Superflex is a middle size that holds enough for a tray of cupcakes or the filling for a batch of pastries. Like the rest of the line, it is a single layer of food-grade thermoplastic polyurethane, without a fabric layer to absorb fat or color.

The material handles both warm and chilled fillings, and it can go in the microwave. It is blue, which makes it easy to keep separate from bags used for savory foods.

Fitting a Tube or Coupler

The tip is left closed so the bag can be cut to fit. For a small tube used without a coupler, trim just enough for the tube to protrude. For a coupler, trim so the coupler base fits snugly in the opening; Ateco’s 4-piece coupler set covers small, medium and large tubes. Cut a little at a time, since an opening cut too large cannot be reversed.

Care

Hand wash in hot soapy water and hang to dry. The material resists staining and odors.
